The law enforcement authorities, tracked Jimenez’s cell phone from the Chicago area to an area near Memphis, Tenn., through Arkansas, to Houston, Texas and finally to Hidalgo, Texas, at 10:45 p.m. on Monday. Arnoldo Jimenez is reportedly in his black Maserati.
A federal warrant was issued for the arrest of 30-year-old, Arnoldo Jimenez after it was discovered that he was the one who killed his new wife, Estrella Carrera. Jimenez was born in Texas and he owns property in Pharr, Texas. According to his relatives, he contacted different people after he fled and he even told his sister that he stabbed Carrera and she might have been bleeding when he left her. He told his sister that a horrible fight broke out between the newly wedded husband and wife and things turned really rough after a while, and at that point, he stabbed her.
Arnoldo Jimenez is the father of Estrella Carrera’s two-year-old son, and the couple had gotten married on this Friday in Chicago and they were seen together for the last time at about 4 a.m. on Saturday. According to reports, Estrella Carrera had not told anyone from her family that she is getting married to Arnoldo Jimenez and informed her family about a small get-together only after she was married. She just told her relatives that she is having a small party and did not inform many of them that she had gotten married already.
According to some of Carrera’s family members who knew Jimenez, he was a very possessive and jealous man. Some of them even doubted his way of living.
