Khloe Kardashian said at an event promoting Hypnotic Harmonie liqueur, in Beverly Hills.
“What everyone tells me is that if you’re missing out on a sex life, if you read the book, it makes you want to have a sex life, And, I have a phenomenal s** life, so, I’m not dying to read written porn. I would rather watch p**n, than read a different version of p***. But, I don’t know what it’s about. I haven’t read it. I know my grandmother, which is kind of embarrassing she has read the book, like in less than 24 hours, and she loves it.”
The book is being adapted into a movie with The Social Network producers Mike DeLuca and Dana Brunetti producing. 50 Shades is a hot talking point among top Hollywood talent.
While Kate Beckinsale said on Wednesday’s Hollywood Total Recall premiere that she hasn’t read the book, Dancing with the Stars’ William Levy has said he would to star in the film and Emma Watson has been rumored to be up for the film (though she recently denied that claim, saying she hadn’t read the script).
The book’s writer, E L James, recently tweeted the movie’s cast has yet to be chosen: “We are so far away.”
