Kristen Stewart, the “Twilight” saga actress, has topped the chart of Hollywood’s highest paid actresses.
The 22-year-old actress, according to the Forbes magazine’s list of highest paid actresses, is on the top of the list after pulling in $34.5 million from May 2011 to May 2012.
The magazine credits the astronomical sum to the fact that the 22-year-old actress is integral to the wildly popular and lucrative “Twilight” franchise. “The star becomes indispensable,” notes Forbes, “and the studio has to pay up.”
Stewart is the youngest Hollywood actress to earn this whopping amount in such a small period of time. Media analysts believe that her smart acting in the vampire movie has paid her off. Analysts also insist that Kristen Stewart had attracted the fans so well to herself that her absence from any part of the movie would have resulted in fan’s revolts.
This is the reason why Kristen was able to demand $12.5 million per film in the last two parts of the movie, whereas the rest of the amount was added to her record by her last movie of the year, “Snow White and the Huntsman”.
