Rapper 50 Cent is reportedly hospitalized after suffering serious injuries in a vehicular accident on Tuesday. According to Thisis50.com, the rapper’s bullet-proof SUV was rammed by a Mack truck as he was traveling on the Long Island Expressway in New York. The driver of the truck allegedly lost control of his vehicle when the pile-up occurred.
He was taken to the nearest Queen’s hospital where he is undergoing tests on his neck and back. 50’s driver is also reportedly hospitalized. The 36-year-old rapper/ actor/ entrepreneur whose, real name Curtis James Jackson, has had his share of serious tragedies and is still here to tell about them. He has lived a hard life and was a drug dealer by the tender age of 12. This native of Jamaica, Queens, was shot nine times in 2000 at the age of 25. Just two months ago he was hospitalized for a bad case of “stomach virus attack.”
Let’s hope all goes well and he recovers in time for his 37th birthday which is in 10 days, on July 6. But judging by his resilience and his uncanny ability to survive the impossible, something tells me his fans do not have to worry just yet.
