As we pass the halfway point of the quarter finals on America’s Got Talent, we learned that there was one act tonight that was so good, it prompted a standing ovation from everyone in the room and high praise from all the judges.
So what could everyone possibly be so in awe of? Clearly, it’s a lot more intricate than it sounds, and is actually quite entertaining. Lightwire came on stage tonight and blew everyone away with their new presentation and story.
“What a way to end the show,” Howie Mandel shouted. “You brought it home…you’re goin’ to the finals!”
Sharon Osbourne agreed, “That was spectacular—in every sense of the word. I loved the little story that was going on, the new characters you brought to us. I will see you in the final.”
“Now we’re talkin’, now we’re getting somewhere,” Howard Stern told the group, “Boy, I don’t know what to say other than you guys said you were going to leave it all out there on the stage and you did exactly what you said. No disappointments here. It’s electronic, it’s lights, it’s dance, it’s a great story. That’s a big stage show. That’s a million dollar act, no ands, ifs or buts. You did it, congratulations, you’ve worked hard, you made it new, you made it original. I’m very proud of you and I’m proud that we’re a part of your success story.”
