What made Kim Kardashian Popular?

Kim Kardashian is the ex-girlfriend of Nick Cannon, Reggie Bush and Ray J. She had intercourse on camera with the former, which is what made Kim a celebrity gossip favorite.  In 2006, Kim Kardashian gained notoriety through a law suit involving a S3X  tape she made, with the court awarding her $5 million dollars. In 2007, she and her family starred in a reality television series Keeping Up with the Kardashians. There were also several spin-offs of this series, including Kourtney and Kim Take New York and Kourtney and Kim Take Miami. She currently co-owns the fashion boutique chain D-A-S-H with her sisters.

In the spring of 2011, she got engaged to basketball player Kris Humphries, an agreement that should net each millions. Kim stars in Keeping Up with the Kardashians.  It’s hard to say what makes Kim Kardashian Popular, but you gotta admire how she’s mastered the celebrity gossip game. Kardashian makes seven figures a year by simply appearing at clubs and blogging about random parties. She must love capitalism.

She appeared on season seven of Dancing with the Stars, partnered with Mark Ballas… and didn’t do very well. In late 2010, she moved to New York and started filming a reality show there with Kourtney. She also Tweets a lot and she married Kris Humphries in August 2011. They got divorced 72 days later.
