Alec Baldwin the “30 Rock” star took advantage of twitter to vent his anger at being harassed by a woman stalker.
Although a judge ordered his alleged stalker, 40-year-old Canadian actress Genevieve Sabourin, to stay away from the hot-headed actor, Alec Baldwin is not letting the issue rest without putting up a fight.
Alec Baldwin lashed out at Sabourin, who has been charged with aggravated harassment and stalking, in a tweet saying:
“Isn’t it odd when an accused stalker is in handcuffs, being taken away by the cops, yet smiles for the cameras?”
According to police reports, Sabourin sent text messages and emails to Alec Baldwin in which she declared her love. The actress told him she wanted to have his baby and asked for money.
According to court documents, the emails read: “I am less than 10 minutes away from you tonight. Say I do to me,” “I am excited … about creating genevieve baldwin,” and also “I need to see you now.”
Alec Baldwin, who recently got engaged to girlfriend, 28-year-old Hilaria Thomas, wrote in a follow-up tweet:
“I am lucky and grateful in my life now, no matter what the motivations of certain others. @hilariathomas”
“He gave her exactly what she wanted,” Rhonda Saunders, a Los Angeles County assistant district attorney who is a specialist in stalking cases, said. “He responded to her. She got a reaction from him and that’s what stalkers want.”
According to reports, Alec Baldwin met Sabourin in 2002 on the set of “The Adventures of Pluto Nash,” in which the actor had a cameo role and she was a part of the crew. Court documents revealed that the pair had dinner together and Baldwin also offered her advice on something.
Sabourin, reportedly, started stalking Alec Baldwin two weeks back outside his apartment which made the actor go the police.
